McAREE (née Rooney) Mary (May), passed away peacefully January 4, 2026 at Our Lady’s Care Home, Ard Na Va. (Late of Camberwell Court). Beloved wife of the late Richard R.I.P., much loved mother of Richard, Gregory, Philip, John, Lawrence, Louise and the late Leonard.

May is reposing at O’Kanes Funeral Home, 116-118 Donegall Street, Belfast until Wednesday January 14th when she will arrive at Holy Family Church for Requiem Mass at 12noon, followed by committal in Roselawn Crematorium at 2.00pm. Deeply regretted by her loving sons, daughter, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great grandchildren and family circle. Our Lady of Lourdes pray for her.
