DeGROOT Theo, 7th January 2026, peacefully at his home, 20 Westland Avenue, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of the late Marie, loving father of Steven and the late Karla, devoted grandfather of Lee, Sean, Shannon and Ciara and great-grandfather of Patrick and Clodagh, cherished brother of Rein, Jan, Alwina, Winnie and Geertje and a devoted uncle to all his nieces and nephews. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by the wider family circle (Donegal and Holland).

Theo will be reposing at his home on Thursday 8th January from 5:00pm.

Funeral leaving his home on Saturday 10th January at 9:20am to St. Eugene’s Cathedral for Requiem Mass at 10:00am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery.

Sacred Heart Of Jesus have mercy on his soul. Our Lady Of Lourdes intercede for him.
