passed away peacefully on 8th January 2026 at the Mater Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Paula, and much loved father to Naomh, Catherine, and Seán Óg. Brother to Thérèse (RIP), Desi, Pauline, Catherine, Patricia, Mary-Rose, and Fergus. He will be sadly missed by his entire family circle and friends.

The family would like to extend their thanks to everyone who has cared for Seán Óg and supported the family over the years.

Seán Óg is reposing at O’Kanes Funeral Home, 2 St Judes Avenue, Ormeau Road, Belfast from Monday 12th January and will then be brought to his late home on the evening of Wednesday 14th January. Friends and family of Seán Óg who would wish to pay their respects are welcome to call to the home for a wake between 2 – 7pm on Thursday 15th January.

Requiem Mass will be held on Friday 16th January 2026 at 10.00am in Good Shepherd Church, Ormeau Road, followed by a private Committal in Roselawn Crematorium at 5.20pm.
