SHIELS Ailish. Passed away peacefully 25th January 2026 at Lansdowne Care Home, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Brendan RIP, and loving mother of Anne, Brenda, Ciara and the late Paul. Cherished grandmother of Steven, Sarah, Brendan, Niamh, Sean, Aine, Orlaith, Donal, Lindsay, Kimberley, Callum. Deeply regretted by her daughters, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandchildren and their partners, and her ten great-grandchildren.

Ailish is reposing at her late home, Firmount. Those wishing to pay their respects are welcome to call on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday between 12.00 noon and 8.00 pm. Her remains will be removed to Holy Family Church, Limestone Road, on Thursday 29th January for Reqiuem Mass at 11.00am. Burial afterwards at Milltown Cemetery.
