ELLIS David Thomas, passed away peacefully in Ward 7c of the Royal Victoria Hospital on 31st January 2026 following a short illness. David was a loving husband, father, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend to many. He will be sorely missed and always lovingly remembered by his beloved wife Eileen, daughter Lynda, son Mark & his partner Carol, his valued friend Robin and all of the family circle.

David will repose in Melville Morgan Funeral Directors, 114 Holywood Road, Belfast BT4 1NU. Please also feel free to call at the family home during the day (until 6.30pm) or at Lynda’s house from 7pm each evening by arrangement.

David’s committal and interment will be at 11am on Friday 13th February 2026 in Roselawn Cemetery (leaving Melville Morgan Funeral Home at 10.30am), followed by a service of thanksgiving and remembrance for David’s life, at 12.30pm in St Mark’s Church (Dundela), Holywood Road, Belfast BT4 1DH. Everyone is welcome to join the family at either / both.
