FOX Gearóid, 12th January 2026, peacefully at his home in Manchester, GEARÓID (formerly of Belfield Park, Derry), beloved husband of Maeve and devoted, much-loved father of Aoife, Cora, Eabha, Caitlin, Maisie, Dara and Odhran. Dearly loved son of the late Ann and Michael Fox. Cherished son-in-law of Una and Gerry Cullen, loving godfather to Callum, and dearly missed by his extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Gearóid will be reposing at his cousin’s home, 67 Spruce Meadows, Culmore, BT48 8SF on Friday 6th February from 2:00pm to 9:00pm. Funeral leaving 67 Spruce Meadows at 9:20am on Saturday 7th February to St. Columba’s Church, Longtower for Requiem Mass at 10:00am. Burial will take place in Ard La, Skerries, Co. Dublin, at 1:00pm on Monday 9th February. May Gearóid rest in peace.
