The death has taken place of Stella McDaid, February 4 2026, peacefully at Edenballymore Lodge Care Home, (formerly of Foyle Park), beloved daughter of the late Daniel and Annie, loving sister of the late Manus, Raymond, Phyllis, Tony, Marietta, Mickey, Irene and Jim, loved and missed by her family – Clare, Chris, Méabh, Dáire, Éireann and the late Aoife. Also loved and missed by her nieces, nephews, friends and her wider family circle.

Stella will be reposing in 1 Foyle Park on Friday, February 4 from 11:00am to 6:00pm. House private on Thursday for family only. Funeral leaving there on Saturday, February 7 at 10:50am to St. Columba’s Church, Long Tower for Requiem Mass at 11:30am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Family flowers only donations in lieu if wished to Mary’s Meals, c/o of Bradley & McLaughlin Funeral Directors, 31 William Street, Derry. Sacred Heart Of Jesus have mercy on her soul. Our Lady Of Lourdes intercede for her.
