SHIELS Danny (Belfast) Died 7th February 2026, peacefully at hospital. Danny, beloved husband of Isobel, dearly loved father of Áine, dear father-in-law of Colm, much loved Papa of Caitriona and husband Peter, Daniel, Anita and Maria and dear brother of Astrid and the late Eileen and Frances.

Danny’s remains will be reposing in John Smith Funeral Home on Tuesday 10th February from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm. Funeral will leave the funeral home on Wednesday 11th February at 9.30am to St. Joseph’s Church, Ballycranbeg for Requiem Mass at 10am followed by burial in adjoining graveyard.
