Acknowledgement from the family of Mary McCaffrey R.I.P

Mary’s family wish to extend our sincere appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all who offered their condolences and support during our recent bereavement.

To all our family, friends and neighbours who attended the wake and funeral. Sincere thanks to all who telephoned, sent messages, called to the house, brought food and stood outside. Our thanks also to those who brought and sent sympathy and mass cards. We especially want to recognise all our cousins who helped in the kitchen and distributed refreshments at the wake. Thank you for giving up your time, we appreciate your thoughtfulness and support.

We would like to thank Seamy, Julie and boys for the provision of food that kept us sustained and provided for everyone who visited the house. We would like to acknowledge our cousins who travelled from America and England to pay their respects at the wake and funeral we really appreciate the efforts made. We would also like to acknowledge Monsignor Currie for his prayers at the wake.

We extend our sincere thanks to the care teams who cared for our mother at home over the last few months. We would like to thank the staff at The Oak’s Family Practice and Allen’s Chemist for your care and advice over the years. To NI Ambulance Service and the staff in Trauma Ward at Craigavon Area Hospital we extend our deep gratitude for the care, compassion and dignity shown to Mary.

A special word of thanks to Father McNally for his spiritual support, home visits and for the very comforting Requiem mass. Our heartfelt thanks to Justin for the lovely music and singing. We convey our appreciation also to the sacristan, eucharistic minister and everyone who took part in the liturgy and committal.

We are truly grateful to FMC Funeral Directors for their guidance care and support and for the dignified manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out. Thank you also to the grave diggers for preparing Mary’s final resting place.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our sincere appreciation.

Mary’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 8″ March at 12pm at Most Holy Trinity Church, Cookstown.

Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul.
