Ciaran SHEVLIN

Date of Death: Sunday 8th February 2026 Town: Tynan

Acknowledgement and Month Mind Mass

On behalf of our family, we would like to sincerely thank everyone who supported us through the loss of Ciaran.

We are deeply grateful to all the staff in 2 North Respiratory Ward CAH, everyone who cared for Ciaran over the years, to Dr McNicholl and his team, and to Kate McAleer & Co for the compassion and dignity shown to Ciaran and to us as a family. Your care will never be forgotten.

Thank you to Lakelands Crematorium Cavan for their gentle approach on the day and to Caledon Community Centre for your support and kindness.

We are especially thankful to Fr Cathal Deveney and Fr Sean Moore for assisting and guiding us through this difficult time.

Over the past few days and weeks, we have been carried by your kindness. The messages, cards, food, visits, phone calls, and quiet acts of support have meant more to us than words can truly express. Each gesture reminded us just how loved Ciaran was and how blessed we are to be surrounded by such an incredible community.

Thank you to those who travelled to be with us, who stood alongside us at the wake and Funeral Mass, and who kept Ciaran in your thoughts and prayers. Your presence brought comfort during the most difficult of days.

To our family and friends — your love, prayers, messages and support have carried us. We will be forever grateful.

As a family, we are forever thankful . Though our hearts are broken, we take comfort in knowing that Ciaran was so loved by so many.

Please continue to keep him in your prayers, as we will always carry him in our hearts.

Ciaran’s Month Mind Mass will take place in St Joseph’s Caledon on Wednesday 11th of March at 7.30pm
