Beloved husband of Bernie (née McAleese); loving father of Christine (Kelly), Paul and Helen (McKay); dear father-in-law of Sean, Roisin and Declan and much adored granda of Daniel, Theo, Michael, Aoibhín. Son of the late John and Patricia (Moneyleck Road, Rasharkin) and dear brother of Colm, Claire (McReynolds), Paula (Devlin), Martina (Murray), Sean, Fidelma (McCracken) and the late Carmel (Bradley).

House Private please. Family, friends and neighbours welcome to call at the family home today Tuesday from 10.00am to 10.00pm. Funeral from his late residence, 84 Bellaghy Road, Dunloy on Wednesday at 11.15am for 12noon Requiem Mass in St Joseph’s Church, Dunloy. Interment afterwards in St Mary’s Cemetery, Rasharkin. (Arriving approx. 1.45pm). St Martin pray for him. Deeply regretted by the entire Doherty and McAleese family circle. No flowers please. Donations if desired to RNIB payable to McKiernan & Sons
