NEWMAN, (née McCormick) Jean (Betty), 10th February 2026, peacefully at Foyle Hospice. Loving mother of Glen, Gary and the late Stephen, devoted grandmother of Shannon, Micheal, Caoimhin, Sophie, Evan, Maille Rose and Lottie, Mother-in-law to Kerry, cherished sister of Harry, Rose, Neil, Stephen, Helen and Martin. Loved and will be sadly missed by the entire family circle.

Betty will be reposing at her home 60 Donal Casey Court on Tuesday 10th. February from 7:00 p.m. Removal leaving there on Wednesday 11th. February at 6:00 p.m. to Holy Family Church, Ballymagroarty for Requiem Mass on Thursday 12th. February at 10:00 a.m. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery.
