McGEOWN (née Haughian) Elizabeth, Derrytrasna, February 11, 2026, peacefully, in her 104th year, at Belvedere Care Home, Gilford, surrounded by her loving family.

Elizabeth, beloved wife of the late Kevin and devoted mother of Kieran, Adrian and Gregory; loving mother-in-law of Vera, Bernie and Doreen. A much-loved grandmother of Ciara (Colly), Catherine (Kevin), Lauren (Taylor-Lee), Victoria (Ciaran), Aaron (Victoria) and Stephen (Aisling), and cherished great-grandmother of Órfhlaith, Páidí, Enda, Ronan and Fíadh. A loving daughter of the late Luke and Elizabeth Ann Haughian (Bayshore, Derrytrasna), predeceased by her brothers and sisters, Mary, Imelda, Bernadette, Luke, Jim and Tommy. A dear sister-in-law, aunt and great-aunt to all her nieces and nephews.

Elizabeth will repose at McAlinden & Murtagh Funeral Home, 43 Ardmore Road, Lurgan, BT66 6QP, today Friday and tomorrow Saturday from 4.00pm to 8.00pm on both days, where family and friends are welcome to visit and pay their respects. Leaving the Funeral Home on Sunday at 2.00pm to St Mary’s Church, Derrytrasna, for Requiem Mass at 2.30pm, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Padre Pio, pray for her.

Elizabeth will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sons, daughters in law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family circle, neighbours and friends.
