It is with deep sorrow and great sadness that we announce the passing of Daniel (Danny) Doherty, suddenly at his home on 11th February 2026. Late of 16 Distillery Close, Waterside and formerly of 12 Liscannor Park, Foyle Springs. May he rest in peace.

Beloved son of the late Danny and Ann. Loving brother of John, Donna and Karen. Dearest brother-in-law of Jennifer and Alex. A much loved uncle of Danielle and Ben. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of his wider family circle and friends.

Danny’s remains will be reposing at the McClafferty Funeral Home and Chapel Of Rest tomorrow evening, Saturday 14th February from 6pm until 9pm. A humanist service will take place from there at 10am on Sunday 15th February. Burial will take place immediately afterwards in the City Cemetery.
