TURKINGTON Melissa Myrtle. Passed away 14th February 2026 in her 93rd year peacefully with quiet strength and dignity at Antrim Area hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Formerly of Ollardale Park, Ballyclare. Dearly beloved wife of the late Andrew. Cherished mother of Andrea and son-in-law William. Devoted grandmother to Janine, Kirsty and husband Mark and a much-adored fun loving great-grandmother to Sienna, Lottie, Rudi, Harley and Lucia.

House private please. A Service of Thanksgiving for Myrtle’s life will be held in S & J Irvine’s Funeral Home, 48 Rashee Road, Ballyclare, BT39 9HJ on Thursday 19th February 2026 at 1.00 p.m. followed by interment in Ballyclare Cemetery.

Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired to Alzheimer’s Society c/o S & J Irvine Funeral Directors.

Myrtle will be lovingly remembered by her entire family circle.
