SHIELDS Kieran, 21st February 2026, peacefully at hospital, late of Cushendall, formerly of Downpatrick, dearly beloved husband of Evelyn, much loved brother of Pat and Annette, son of the late William and Sadie Shields. May he rest in peace.

Requiem Mass will be held in St Patrick’s Church, Downpatrick on Wednesday 25th February at 1.00pm. Interment afterwards in Struell Cemetery. Kieran will be reposing in Charles Rourke and Sons Funeral Home, 51 Church Street Downpatrick BT30 6EH, those wishing to pay their respects may do so on Tuesday 24th February between 3.00pm – 5.00pm, when his family will be in attendance.
