We the family of the late Patricia Monaghan wish to express our heartfelt thanks to all the family, friends and neighbours for their support, kindness, sympathy and generosity shown in the sudden loss of our much loved wife, mother, sister, mother-in-law and grandmother.
To all that visited our home, attended the funeral, sent messages and cards of sympathy, we are deeply grateful. Your thoughtfulness has gave us great comfort at this difficult time.
We would like to thank the staff of ED in SWAH and in Ward 4 in Altnagelvin Hospital for the care and compassion shown to Patricia and her family .
Our sincere thanks to everyone who helped in any way to prepare the family home, helped in the kitchen, parked cars and provided a much appreciated minibus service.
To Joe & Bridie Marlow and Dominic Muldoon (Undertakers) for the dignified and professional manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements and for guiding us through this difficult time.
Also to the grave digger for preparing Patricia”s final resting place.
A special word of thanks to Father Seàn Mulligan for his comforting words, spiritual guidance and his visits to Patricia in hospital.
This was great support to her and her family and for the beautiful Requiem Mass that so fittingly honoured Patricia’s life. For this we are truly grateful.
To everyone who took part in the Funeral Mass, to Angela Reid and Mick Flavin for the beautiful music, the Eucharistic Ministers and Sacristans.
To the team of workers in St.Patrick’s Hall who provided refreshments after the Funeral.

We trust and pray that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our thanks and appreciation.
Patricia’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St.Lawrence’s Church, Fintona on Wednesday 25 th March at 10am.

MONAGHAN (nee Donnelly) Patricia, 83 Dunnamona Road, Omagh BT78 1ST, 25th February 2026, suddenly after short illness. Patricia, dearly beloved wife of Gerry, loving mother of Sean(Claire), Liam(Ewelina), and Dara, doting nanny to Sara and Daithi , sister of Paul(Tina) and the late Celcius and much loved daughter of the late Mary Donnelly.

Patricia will be reposing at her late residence from 9pm this evening (Wednesday) until removal on Saturday 28th February to arrive at St. Lawrence’s Church Fintona for 12noon Requiem Mass followed by burial in adjoining cemetery.

Deeply regretted by her sorrowing husband, sons, daughters -in-law, grandchildren and entire family circle.
