O’KANE (née Forte) Geraldine. Passed away peacefully 5th March 2026 at the Ulster Hospital.

Beloved mother of Adrienne and Cathy. Sadly missed by sons-in-law Bobby and Mark. Much loved nanny of Will, Rory, Ollie, Felix and Olivia, Cherished Sister of Marie and Leo. Deeply regretted by the wider family circle and friends.

Geraldine will be reposing at O’Kanes Funeral Home, 2 St Judes Avenue, Belfast, BT7 2GZ. Those wishing to pay their respects are welcome to call Sunday 12pm – 2pm and Monday 9am – 5pm. Visitors are also welcome to call to her daughter Cathy’s house on Belvedere Park on both these days from 4-7pm.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday 10th March in St Colmcille’s Church, 191a Upper Newtownards Road, BT4 3JB at 11am followed by committal at Milltown Cemetery at 12.45pm.
