HEGARTY (née McGinty) Teresa, peacefully at Daleview House Nursing Home on 7th March 2026.

Late of 1 Foyle View Apartments. May she rest in peace.

Beloved wife of the late Noel. Dearest companion of the late Frank. Devoted mother of Cathy, Paula, Jane and the late Charles and Brian. A dear mother-in-law of John, John and Reza. Loving granny to all of her much loved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A much loved sister of Anne, Mary, Joan, Sean and Brian. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of her wider family circle and friends.

Teresa’s remains will be reposing at her brother Sean’s home, 4 Dill Park from 4:30pm this afternoon, Sunday 8th March. Her remains will leave from there on Monday 9th March at 5:20pm for 6pm arrival to St. Columba’s Church, Longtower to repose overnight. Teresa’s Requiem Mass will then take place on Tuesday 10th March at 10am. Burial will take place afterwards in the City Cemetery.

The wake house will be private from 10pm until 11am
