The family of the late Veronica Kelly who died on 15th March 2026, would like to sincerely thank everyone who sympathised with them on their recent bereavement.
We would like to acknowledge all those who paid their respects in any way.
Thank you to those who called at the wake house, telephoned, sent mass cards, sympathy cards, messaged and left flowers. To those that left messages online or via social media and to those who joined us at the funeral mass. To those who brought food to the house and those who helped at the house during the wake and to all who sent condolences, we are extremely grateful.
Sincerest thanks to John Donaghy funeral directors for the dignified and professional manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out.
Special thanks to Fr. Malachy Gallagher for his spiritual support and for celebrating a beautiful and comforting requiem mass.
Thanks also to the Eucharist Ministers Anne and Marie.
We would also like to thank Aoife Mc Namee for the beautiful singing and music in the chapel.
Thanks also to the gravediggers Sean, Christopher, Shane and Ned for preparing Veronica’s final resting place.
Thank you to Marie and Michael Meenagh and to the staff of Hughie Ruadh’s for the warm and welcoming refreshments after the burial, and to Mountfield Community Association for the use of the hall.
We are extremely grateful to our family, friends and neighbours who assisted during the wake, providing Your love and support has been and continues to be a great comfort to us.
We appreciate that we may not have been able to acknowledge everyone however it didn’t go unnoticed. We are eternally humbled by your support.
Veronica’s months mind will be celebrated on Friday 17th April at 7.30pm in Corpus Christi Church, Mountfield.

Loving mother of Aidan (Teresa), Mary, Anita (James Dobbs), Dermot (Aishling) and the late Gavan R.I.P. Sister of the late Mary, Eugene and Leo McClenaghan R.I.P.
Veronica’s remains will repose at her late residence 16 Mullan Park, Mountfield, BT79 7QA, from 7pm today Monday for those who wish to pay their respects. Funeral from there on Wednesday 18th March for 11am Requiem mass in Corpus Cristi Church Mountfield. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.
Deeply regretted and will be sadly missed by her sorrowing sons, daughters, son in law, daughter’s in law, grandchildren; Mark, Ciaran, Conor, Lauren, Ronan, Mia, Padhraig, Eoin, great grandson Noah, sister in law Mary Jo McClenaghan (Culdaff, Donegal), nephew’s, niece’s and extended family circle.
