MURTAGH (nee Burns) Libby -(Newry, formerly Poyntzpass)- 21st March 2026. Libby. Peacefully at home in the care of her loving family. Much loved and adored mother of Elaine (Brendan), Pauline (Charlie), Joanne (Hogey), Geraldine, Adele (Ted), and her late son, Francis. Loving sister of Aidan, Kathleen, Margaret and the late Pat, Eamon, Sean, and Gerald. Beloved daughter of the late Lily and John Burns.

Libby’s remains will repose at her late home, 7 Hill Crescent, Newry on today (Sunday) and tomorrow (Monday) from 12.00noon until 9.00pm. Removal on Tuesday at 10.15am for 11.00am Requiem Mass in St Joseph’s Church, Poyntzpass. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. House Private on Tuesday Morning please. Our Lady of Knock pray for her.

Deeply regretted by her sorrowing daughters, sons-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brother, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, and the entire family circle.
