GILLEN (née Spence) Violet Isobel, 28th March 2026. Peacefully at her late home 6 Folliard Road, Sion Mills, Strabane. Dearly beloved wife of the late David, devoted mother of James, Jennifer, Helen, Wendy, Mark and the late David, mother-in-law of Cathy, Les and Alan. A cherished grandmother and great-grandmother. A dear sister of Henry, Willie, Barbara, Jacqueline and the late Jimmy and Roseleen.

Everyone is welcome to call at her late home today (Saturday) from 7pm and anytime on Sunday. Service of Thanksgiving for the life of Violet will be held in Derg Parish Church on Monday at 1.00pm followed by committal in Castlederg New Cemetery.
