McATEER Edward (Eddie) (Connie) (Billy’s Road, Ballyholland) 20th April, 2026, peacefully at Daisy Hill Hospital, Edward (Eddie) beloved husband of the late Marie, loving father of Declan and Kealan, father-in-law of Anne and Nicola, devoted grandfather of Stephanie, Gavin, Andrew, Kirsten, Daniel and the late Kerina and dear brother of the late Matt, May and Bene. May his soul rest in peace.

Eddie’s remains will repose at his son Declan’s home 7, Burren Hill, Burren on Tuesday from 3pm – 9pm and on Wednesday from 12pm – 9pm. Removal on Thursday at 11.15am arriving at St. Mary’s Church, Chapel Hill, Newry for 12noon Requiem Mass (churchmedia.tv) followed by interment in adjoining cemetery.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving family, extended family circle, his companion Rose and many friends.
