BASSETT Edward (Eddie), died suddenly at home 25th April 2026, surrounded by his loving family. A beloved son of Eileen and John, Devoted husband to Luzia. A loving father to Joeleen, Eddie and Jamie and a loving grandfather. Much-loved brother to David, Billy, Lisa and the late Patrick and John. An adored uncle, great uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend to many, RIP.

Eddie will arrive home to his family home, 599 Ormeau Road on Monday (evening). Eddie will leave on Thursday 30th April at 10.45am for 11.30am Requiem Mass in St. Malachy’s Church, followed by burial in the City Cemetery. St Anthony Pray for him.
