McSORLEY Canon Patrick (Patsy), late of Lisnarable, Eskra and formerly Prestwick, Scotland passed away peacefully today, Thursday 30th April 2026.

Beloved son of the late Bernard and Mary Ann Mc Sorley, much loved brother of Dan, and predeceased by his sisters Mary (McKenna), and Rose (Mc Crystal), and brothers Brian and Monseigneur Gerard (Los Angeles)

Canon Patrick will repose at his late residence from 4.00pm-9.00pm on tomorrow Sunday May 3rd and from 2.00pm-6.00pm on Monday May 4th, with removal to St Patrick’s Church, Eskra for 7.00pm. Requiem Mass on Tuesday May 5th at 12noon, followed by burial in adjoining cemetery.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his sorrowing brother, brother-in-law Phil McCrystal, nieces, nephews, cousins, his Clerical Family, his good friends and colleagues in Scotland where he resided for over 60 years, and his good friends, carers and neighbours in Eskra since his return in 2022.
