McCARTHY (née Woods) Daphne – 4th May 2026, peacefully in The Brook Nursing Home, Coleraine. Daphne, formerly of 8 Mill Gardens, Portstewart. Beloved wife of the late David, devoted mother of Noel, Karin (Michael), Jillian (Michael), Alan (Liz) and Richard (Katja), loving grandmother of Adele (Kyle), Callum and Isabel, much loved sister of the late Billy, Noel, Stanley and Gerald.

House private. Service of Thanksgiving in Burnside Presbyterian Church, Portstewart, on Friday at 12 noon followed by interment in Portstewart Cemetery. Family flowers only, please. Donations, if wished, for REACH c/o Hugh Wade and Son.
