McCARTNEY (nee Johnston) Irene – 1st May 2026 passed away peacefully in hospital.
Devoted wife of Raymond. Much loved mum of Stephen, David and the late Lynn. Loving mother-in-law to Margaret. Cherished and proud grandmother and great grandmother. And a beloved sister of Gary. Irene will be sorely missed by the entire family circle.
A service of thanksgiving for the life of Irene will be held in Church of the Nazarene, 20 Oakfield Drive, Carrickfergus on Friday 15th May at 12noon followed by a committal in Antrim and Newtownabbey Crematorium at 3.00pm.
