MEEHAN Gerard (Meeks), May 5 2026, beloved husband of Mary-T, loving father of Aoibheann, Donncha, Caomhóg and Fiachra, father-in-law of Conor, Linda and Kevin, devoted grandfather of Fianná, Daithí, Róise, Cailíosa and the late baby Lochlann and a much loved brother, brother-in-law and uncle.

Gerard will be reposing in his son’s home, 74 Springvale Park, on Friday from 12 – 10 pm. Funeral from there on Saturday at 11.25 am for 12 o’clock Requiem Mass in St Columba’s Church, Longtower. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu of flowers, if wished, to Foyle Search & Rescue, Victoria Road, Derry. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.
