FERRIS Maurice Brian R.I.P. (9 Donard Fold, Lawnfield, Newcastle) died May 8, 2026 peacefully at home. Dearly beloved husband of the late Mary Evelyn. Loving father of Maurice, Robert, Patrick, Michael, Delia, Mary, David, Desmond and Joseph. Will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his entire family circle and many friends. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his gentle soul.

His remains are presently reposing at his daughter’s home, 47 Corrigs Avenue, Newcastle, BT33 0RP. Funeral Mass on Monday May 11, 2026 at 10.00am in the Church of Our Lady of the Assumption, Newcastle. Burial to follow in St Patrick’s Cemetery, Bryansford. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to Cancer Focus NI in memory of his late wife Evelyn.
