NEESON (nee McPhillips) Maura. Maura passed peacefully at Railway Lodge Care Home on 10th May 2026 surrounded by her loving family. Dearly beloved wife of the late Malachy and loving mother of Marion, Andrea, Noel, David and Declan. Devoted granny to Christopher, Conor, Aideen, Andrew, Matthew, Órlaith, Tómas, Fiona, Caitlin, Megan, Clodagh, David and great granny to Leo, Luca, Jack, Isla and Margot. Cherished sister of Joe, Jackie, Margaret and the late Colette and David. Formerly of Orchardville Gardens. Our Lady of Knock Pray for Her.

Maura’s remains will be reposing in her daughter’s home. The family have requested that the house remains private. Maura’s remains will leave her daughter’s home at 11.45am on Wednesday to arrive at St Michael the Archangel Church for 12.30pm Requiem Mass. Burial to follow in Milltown Cemetery.
