O’HAGAN Canon Hugh J P.P. St Mary’s Parish Ahoghill (formerly Kilcoo) 17th May 2026 (peacefully at hospital), beloved son of the late Frank and Sarah and much loved brother of the late Kathleen.

Fr Hugh’s wake will officially begin in his late residence within Oranmore, Guest House, Galgorm Road, Ballymena on Wednesday 20th May 2026 at 6pm. His remains will leave from there on Friday 22nd May at 11.30am for 12 noon Requiem Mass in St Mary’s Church, Ahoghill, burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

NB: Private time requested each day of Fr Hugh’s wake between 9pm and 12noon.

Deeply regretted by his sorrowing housekeeper Pauline, Bishop Alan, the priests of Down and Connor Diocese, his extended family, his parishioners in St Mary’s Parish Ahoghill, his former parishioners in Killyleagh and his many friends from far and near who loved him so much. On his soul sweet Jesus have mercy.
