McGERR (nee O’Kane Pappy) Vera. Died 18th May 2026. (Dunloy) Peacefully at Parkmanor Oaks Care Home Vera R.I.P. Formerly of 6 Killimorrie Park, Dunloy.
Loving wife of Paul McGerr. Beloved mother of Chrisy McGilligan (Anne), Sabrina Gallagher (Damian), Lorraine McAleese (Chrissy) and Aaron McGilligan (Paula) and a much adored Granny. Daughter of the late John and Maureen O’Kane (Pappy) and dear sister of Maureen, John Eddie, Barney, Anne, Sally, Bernadette, Charlie, Tommy, Paul, Gary, Frank and the late Paddy, Jimmy, Rosie, Dolores, Felix and Tony.
Vera will be reposing in her son Chrisy McGilligan’s home, 44A Bridge Road, Dunloy. Everyone welcome to call on Wednesday from 2pm to 9pm and Thursday from 12 noon to 9pm. Family time after please. Funeral from Chrisy’s residence on Friday 22nd May 2026 at 10:30am for 11 o’clock Requiem Mass in St. Joseph’s Church, Dunloy. (Mass will be broadcast live on the Dunloy & Cloughmills Parish Facebook Page). Interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery.
