McCARTHY (née Ferry) Bridie, 22nd May 2026, peacefully, after a long illness, BRIDIE (formerly of The Wells and Lisfannon Park), beloved wife of Fergus (Skin), loving mother of Nicholas, Joseph, Catherine, Brian, Donna, Moira, Sean, Anne Marie and the late Eileen, a devoted grandmother and great-grandmother and a dear and loving mother-in-law. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by the wider family circle.

Bridie will be reposing at her son Sean’s home, 21 Rossville Street, on Saturday 23rd May from 2:00pm. Family time please from 10:00pm to 11:00am. Funeral leaving 21 Rossville Street on Monday 25th May at 10:50am to St. Columba’s Church, Longtower for Requiem Mass at 11:30am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery.

Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul. Our Lady of Lourdes intercede for her.
