McDERMOTT (née Campbell) Sheila, 27th May 2026, peacefully, after a short illness, surrounded by her loving family, at Altnagelvin Hospital, formerly of Ederowen Park. Beloved wife of the late Noel, loving mother of Edward (Jackie), Jacqueline (Tony), Fiona (Barry), Noel (Sharon), Linda (Fiona), John (Edel), Raymond (Lindsay) and the late Paula, a devoted grandmother and great-grandmother and a cherished sister of Mary, Joe and the late James, John, Gabriel and Kathleen. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by the wider family circle and all her friends.

Sheila will be reposing at her home, 20 Woodlands, Culmore Road, BT48 8JQ, on Wednesday 27th May from 7:00pm to 10:00pm and on Thursday from 11:00am to 10:00pm.

Funeral leaving her home on Friday 29th May at 10:20am to St. Joseph’s Church, Galliagh for Requiem Mass at 11:00am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery.
