We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of James O’Kane peacefully surrounded by his loving family at The Northwest Cancer Centre on the 26th of May 2026. May he rest in peace. Late of Thackeray Place, Limavady and formerly of Moneygran and Moneycannon Co Tyrone.

Son of the late Elizabeth and Joseph O’Kane R.I.P. Beloved brother of Anthony (Margaret), Philomena (Harry), Kevin and the late Ann, Mary, Brian and Gerard R.I.P. Deeply regretted by nieces, nephews and the entire family circle.

You are welcome to pay your respects at McLaughlin’s Funeral Home (414a Ballyquin Road, Dungiven BT47 4NQ) on Wednesday (27th) from 7pm to 9pm and Thursday (28th) from 4.15pm to 6.15pm.

Leaving the funeral home at 6.15pm to repose in St Mary’s Church, Ardmore overnight.

Requiem Mass will take place on Friday 29th of May 2026 at 10am. Interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.

Family flowers only please, donations if wished in lieu to Parkinson’s U.K or Cancer Research. Sacred Heart of Jesus pray for him.
