DIXON Violet (Markethill) June 7, 2026, (peacefully) at Hamilton Court Care Home and formerly of Ashgrove, Markethill. Violet Florence, much loved mother of Sandra, Emma and John, dear mother-in-law of John and Joan, a devoted grandmother and great-grandmother of 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren and dear sister of Muriel, Johnston, Ivor and the late Edna.

Funeral service in First Markethill Presbyterian Church (Upper) on Wednesday at 2pm, followed by committal in the adjoining churchyard.
