BUCHANAN John, June 21 2026, peacefully at Foyle Hospice, beloved partner of Betty Burns, late of Whitethorn Drive, Curryneirin, loving father of David, Michael and William, devoted grandfather of Stephanie, Shauna, Jake, Hollie, Alex and the late Michael, cherished great-grandfather of Alfie, Penelope, Teddy, Troy and Brody and dear brother of Martha, Roy, Eileen, Tom, Joe, Kathleen, Albert and the late Issac, William and Ernie.

John will be reposing in his sister Kathleen’s home, 4 Ballygudden Road, Eglinton. Funeral service will take place in Faughanvale Presbyterian Church on Wednesday at 2 pm.
