SHORTT James (Jimmy) Passed away peacefully at home 29th June 2026 surrounded by his loving family. Dearly beloved husband of Elizabeth. Devoted father of Sean, Padriac, Ciaran and Christina. Much loved father-in-law of Claire, Lorraine, Leanne and Tiarnan. Cherished grandfather of Conall, Fiadh, Fionan, Cuan, Padriac, Ava, Noah, Alora and Lola. Loved brother of Dorris, Sadie, Malachy and Edward. Late of Apt 3, 34 Hazel Drive. St. Padre Pio Pray for him.

Jimmy will leave his home on Saturday at 9.30am to arrive at Christ the Redeemer Church for 10.00am Requiem Mass. Burial to follow in Blaris Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the Carers from Southern Board, Tracey, Betty, Suzy, Ally and Mandy, Maguire’s pharmacy, Dr Murphy and the whole of Dunville Medical centre for their unwavering care and support during this difficult time.

Jimmy will be loved and missed always by his heartbroken Wife, Sons, daughter, daughter-in-law’s, son-in-law, grandchildren, brother’s, sister’s and the entire family circle.
