SMYTH (nee Devlin) Monica (Mona)Passed away peacefully at Meadowlands Musgrave Park Hospital on 3rd July 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Late of Wynchurch Park, Belfast & formerly Annaghmore , Co Armagh.

Beloved wife of the late Jim (RIP) dearly loved & devoted Mum to Rosemary & Nuala, adored & treasured Granny to Rebecca, Adam, Dylan & Lucy. Loving mother-in-law to Gary & Rosemary’s partner Paul. Much loved sister, sister-in-law, aunt, great aunt & great great aunt & cherished friend to many. She will be sorely missed by her loving family, entire family circle, friends & neighbours.

Mona will be reposing at O’Kanes Funeral Home, 2 St. Judes Avenue, Belfast, BT7 2GZ. Those wishing to pay their respects are welcome to call on Monday 6th July and Tuesday 7th July between 2pm-4pm, family will be in attendance.

Her remains will arrive at St. Bernadette’s Church, Rosetta Road Belfast BT6 0LS, Tuesday 7th July at 7 pm. Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday 8th July 2026 at 11am at St. Bernadette’s Church. Mass can be viewed online at https://www.stbernadettesparish.org/ Followed by burial at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Killough Road, Downpatrick. On her soul, Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy.
