SMYTH Richard Joseph (Dickie) (Downpatrick) Died 5th July 2026 peacefully in the Downe Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Dearly beloved husband of Mary Teresa and loving father to Colette, Paula, Sean and Tracey. Dear father in law of Adrian, Shane and the late Graham, Cherished grandfather to Ryan, Daniel, Chloe, Shea, Rory and Olivia and great grandfather to Ciaran and Sarah. Much loved brother of John, Tommy, Margaret and Anthony, late Lily, Jim, May, a loving uncle and friend to many.

Funeral from his late residence 12 Quoile Park, Downpatrick BT30 6SH on Wednesday 8th July at 10.15am for 11.00am Requiem Mass in St Mary Star of the Sea Church, Rossglass. Interment after in the adjoining Cemetery. Sacred Heart of Jesus have Mercy on his Soul. Richard’s remains will be brought to the family home on Monday 6th July. House will be private to family only between 6pm and 8pm

Everyone welcome to pay their respects at his late residence on Tuesday 7th July between 12.00pm and 8.00pm. House private to family only on the morning of the funeral.
