BUCHANAN John, at his home in Halkirk, Caithness, on Saturday 11 July 2026. David will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sons, Gareth and Jordan and his partner, Isla; his sisters, Josaleen (Owen) and Gwen (James); his brother, Robert (Monica), his nieces and nephews, his great-nephew and great-niece, wider family circle and by his many friends and neighbours.

A celebration of David’s life will be held at Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd, Humberston, Bailechaul Road, Dingwall, IV15 9TP, Scotland, on Monday 27 July 2026 at 11am, followed by burial in Northern Ireland in the family plot at Faughan Reformed Presbyterian Church, 4 Fincairn Road, Drumahoe, Londonderry, BT47 3LB, on Wednesday 29th July 2026 at 2pm.
