PORTER Jim, 22nd July 2026, peacefully, beloved son of the late James and Margaret Porter, much loved brother of David, brother-in-law of Anne and a loving uncle.

A Service of Thanksgiving will be held in Charles Rourke and Sons’ Funeral Church, 51 Church Street, Downpatrick, BT30 6EH on Monday 27th July at 1.00pm preceded by a private family committal.

Those wishing to pay their respects to Jim will be welcome at Charles Rourke & Sons’ Funeral Home [address as above] on Friday 24th July from 1.00pm -3.00pm when the family will be present.

No flowers please, donations in memory of Jim may be made, if desired to Royal National Institute for the Blind
