Funeral Service in Holy Trinity Parish Church, Banbridge, on Sunday 9th August 2026 at 1.30 pm, followed by interment in Banbridge New Cemetery. Lorraine will leave William Bell & Co Funeral Home at 12.30 pm, pausing at the Banbridge War Memorial in memory of her late father, Jackie, then travelling past Linen Hall Street, where she established and ran her successful hairdressing business and then proceeding to Holy Trinity Parish Church.
Family and friends are welcome to call at William Bell & Co Funeral Home, 23 Kenlis Street, Banbridge, BT32 3LR, on Friday 7th August and Saturday 8th August, from 12.00 noon until 9.00 pm, when the family will be in attendance.
Following the funeral, the family warmly invite everyone to join them for refreshments at the Belmont Hotel from 4.00 pm until 6.00 pm. In true Lorraine style, that will not be the end of the day. As she requested, the evening will continue with a party to celebrate her life, with music, laughter, stories, dancing, a few drinks and plenty of craic continuing into the night. Everyone is warmly invited to stay and celebrate Lorraine in the way she wanted — by remembering a life lived fully and joyfully.
Family flowers only, please. Donations in lieu, if desired, may be sent to William Bell & Co Funeral Directors, 23 Kenlis Street, Banbridge, BT32 3LR, for The Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust. Very deeply regretted and sadly missed by her sorrowing husband, son, daughter, mother, brothers, sisters, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and the entire family circle.
Live. Love. Laugh. Lorraine. Forever loved. Forever missed. Where the mountains meet the sea, may we always feel her near.
