SHIELDS Colleen (Newry) July 27th, 2026. Peacefully at home, Colleen (née McKay), dearly beloved wife of Jackie and cherished mother of Jonny, Matty, Christy and Karl and much loved sister of Eugene, Mary Kelly, Terry and the late Margaret, Bernie and Pat.

May she Rest In Peace.

Colleen’s remains will be removed from the Heaney Keenan Funeral Home, 53 Patrick Street, Newry, this evening (Monday) at 7.30pm to her late residence, 13 Carlingford Park, where they will repose until 10pm tonight and tomorrow from 12 noon until 9pm.

Funeral on Wednesday at 10.15am arriving for 11am Requiem Mass in St Mary’s Church, Chapel Street. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Our Lady of Lourdes pray for her.

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her heartbroken husband, sons, daughters-in-law Jeannie and Cathy, grandchildren Jack, Hollie, Danny, Riain, Charlie, Maisie, Reuben, Brody, Erin and Eden, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces and the entire family circle.
