PALMER Goodwyn, 27th July 2026, peacefully, at Beverly Lodge Nursing Home, Newtownards, formerly of Westlea Drive, Portavogie. Cherished dad of Goodwyn, Johnathan, Aaron and Emma-Jean, highly respected father-in-law of Kirsten, granda of Casey, Paige, Scarlett, Harry, Elliot, Zach and Calvin, dearly loved brother of Wendy, Albert, Faith, Jennifer and the late Sam and Davy- Hugh, son of the late Albert and Eileen Palmer and a loyal friend to many.

A Service of Thanksgiving for Goodwyn’s life will be held at 10.30 am on Saturday 8th August 2026 in Portavogie Presbyterian Church, followed by committal in Kirkistown Cemetery at 12 noon. No flowers please by request. Donations in memory of Goodwyn, if desired, may be made payable to R.N.L.I (Donaghadee Branch)

Goodwyn will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered for the character that he was.
