DEVLIN Dr Celestine

The family of Dr Celestine Devlin, formerly of Newcastle, Co Down, and more recently of Chester-le-Street, announce with profound sadness his recent death. Beloved husband of Ursula, devoted father of Áine, Tara, Colin and Sinéad, and much-loved grandfather of Ciara, Louis, Jamie, Erin, Orla, Isla, Torin, Rian and Aidan. A distinguished educator and respected former Headteacher of St Louis Grammar School, Kilkeel, Dr Devlin dedicated his life to the education and development of young people, leaving a lasting legacy through his leadership and commitment to excellence. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by his family, friends, former colleagues, pupils and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Funeral and Memorial Service arrangements will be announced at a later date.
