We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Denise McCloskey (Kearney) peacefully at The Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast on the 5th of August 2026. May she rest in peace.

Beloved wife of Raymond R.I.P and loving mother of Michael and Deirdre. Devoted grandmother of Cara-Bella, Emilie and Abi. Daughter of the late Joe and Molly R.I.P and dear sister of Diane, Maureen, Jim, Pat and the late Harper R.I.P.

Reposing at her home 28 Hillside Drive, Stranmillis, Belfast on Friday 7th of August from 3pm – 9pm and then reposing at McLaughlin Funeral Home (414a Ballyquin Road, Dungiven, BT47 4NQ) on Saturday 8th of August 3pm to 5.30pm. Leaving the funeral home at 5.30pm to repose in St Joseph’s Church, Banagher overnight for Requiem Mass on Sunday 9th of August at 12 noon. Interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
