SMYTH (nee McAleese) Deirdre. Died 24th August 2026 (Kilrea). Peacefully at hospital surrounded by her loving family Deirdre R.I.P. beloved mother of Eugene, Leo and Fergal; dear mother-in-law of Julie Ann, Marian and Trish and much adored Granny of Johnny, Caidan, Eoghan, Grace and Katie. Daughter of the late Pat Joe and Josephine and loving sister of Siobhan, Finola, Kevin, Anne, Pauline, Martin and Roisin.

Everyone welcome to call at her son Eugene’s home (9 Garvan Court, Kilrea. BT51 5FE) on Tuesday 25th August 2026 from 2pm to 10pm and Wednesday 26th August 2026 from 12 noon to 10pm. Parking available at the Marian Hall, Kilrea.

Funeral from Eugene’s residence on Thursday 27th August 2026 at 10:20am for 11 o’clock Requiem Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Drumagarner. Interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery.
