GIRVAN Oliver Plunkett, 10 Bardahessiagh Lane, Pomeroy, BT702RH, peacefully after a short illness, surrounded by his loving family August 27th, 2026 (R.I.P)

Loving husband of Bridie (nee Conway). Devoted father of Petrina (Padraig O’Neill), John (Louise), Venita (Sean Murphy), Peter (Cathryn), Aidan (Rona) and Martina who died in infancy (R.I.P) Cherished grandfather of Sean, Grace, Mary-Kate, Monica, Ollie, Annabel, Nora, Jane, Tessa, Theo, Joseph, Nellie, Olivia and Thomas. Brother of the late Mary Teresa Rafferty, John Francis and baby Peter (R.I.P).

Beloved son of the late John and Monica (R.I.P) St. Oliver Plunkett pray for him.

Oliver’s remains will repose at his family home for a wake on Friday (August 28th) and Saturday (August 29th) from 11am. Funeral from there on Sunday (August 30th) at 10:50am going to Church of St. John’s Slatequarry for 11:30am Requiem Mass followed by burial afterwards in adjoining Cemetery.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving wife, daughters, sons, grandchildren, daughters in-law, sons in-law, sisters in-law, brothers in-law, nieces, nephews, friends, neighbours and his wider family circle.
