McDONNELL (née Lafferty) Jean (Islandnabrackey, 52 Glensbrae Road, Martinstown) August 30, 2026, peacefully at hospital. May she rest in peace. Loving wife of the late Arthur, devoted mother of Denise (Forde), Bernie (Haughey), Frank and Colin. A much loved granny and great granny; mother-in-law of Brendan, Jimmy, Tishie and Lucy. Loving sister of Angela (McKay), Celia (Boyd) and the late Jim and Desmond.

Jean’s funeral will leave her late residence on Wednesday September 2nd at 11.15am to Mary Queen of Peace Church, Glenravel for 12noon Requiem Mass. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

Deeply regretted by her sorrowing family and family circle. Our Lady of Knock pray for her.
